Dedicated to Helping You Fulfill Your Mission

A committed team with big hearts for nonprofits.

Our History

From the beginning, we’ve been passionate about working with nonprofits and community-based organizations. Our team understands the unique challenges these groups face and is committed to building solutions that support collaboration, efficiency, and mission-driven work.

Founded in 2000, Element 74 is a software development company based in Southeast Missouri. With deep roots in custom application development, we specialize in creating practical, scalable tools that solve real-world problems for organizations.

Every day, we work to become a trusted technical partner to the organizations we serve. Our goal is simple: help you spend less time wrestling with systems and more time making a difference.

The Coalition Manager Story

Ignition

Coalition Manager was born out of a real-world need in 2012, when the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence partnered with Element 74 to streamline their data systems. They were juggling spreadsheets, paper records, and fragmented tools — and they needed a better way to manage member engagement and reporting.

Early Adoption

What started as a custom solution quickly grew into a platform designed for coalitions and nonprofits nationwide. As word spread, other state and national organizations saw the potential and began offering feedback that helped shape the platform into what it is today.

Expanded Capabilities

Now used by over 100 clients across more than 45 states, Coalition Manager supports a growing and diverse range of missions. Our clients include coalitions and nonprofits focused on homelessness, child advocacy, court-appointed special advocates, domestic and sexual violence, drug prevention, human trafficking, and more.

More Than Just Software, We Build Lasting Partnerships

In addition to the robust features of Coalition Manager, you also get a full team of experts to help you get started and keep you moving smoothly. To begin, you’ll be paired with a specialist who will assist with configuring your software to suit your organization’s needs. All of our implementation specialists have years of nonprofit experience, so you can rest assured that you’ll share the same language and have the same overall goals.

Serving the Ongoing Needs of Nonprofits

Our development team is made up of skilled critical thinkers and creative problem solvers. Always iterating, our team listens to feedback from users and continually looks for ways to provide better solutions for your organization’s needs. We understand that the nonprofit landscape is often shifting, and we keep an eye out for upcoming industry trends and look to meet challenges head on.

With a unique blend of industry and software expertise, our team is ready and excited to help you get started with Coalition Manager.
